The Queen Victoria Building (QVB) underwent a remarkable refurbishment that resulted in one of Sydney’s oldest buildings returned to its former glory.
With higher quality shopping, and upgrades such as improvements in lighting, this project was overseen by Nelson Silva as Project Director leading the project management team. Nelson has been working with Ipoh delivering varies project over the last 10 years across multiple assets throughout Sydney.
The renovation included a substantial refurbishment to the interiors of the existing shopping centre including escalators and finishes. Throughout the whole upgrade to the QVB, it remained fully operational, which included elevators, escalators and landings, new signage and shop fronts, and also carpets and painting throughout.
The refurbishment ensured that the QVB enhanced its heritage and architectural values. It continues to set the standard as a world-class shopping destination.
