Nelson Silva helps deliver The Quay; a long-dormant site which now represents an award-winning, world-class development.

This prominent and exclusive project, was designed for those who have an appreciation for inner-city living that Sydney has to offer. It comprises of two contemporary towers accommodating 286 luxury apartments above three levels of retail stores, anchored by Woolworths along with basement parking.

Acting as Project and Development Director, Nelson Silva and his team used their expertise in design and construction to facilitate the development. Nelson’s delivery direction included an early works package, the direct management of bulk excavation, site decontamination, archaeological excavation and perimeter piling. The end result provided a significantly reduced level of project risk which resulted in a significant upside to the land value. With innovative ideas, The Quay lead the way into Haymarket’s architectural reawakening with the preservation of the heritage facets of the building.
